S M Zahidul Islam

S M Zahidul Islam (Sazal), PT, has been practicing Physiotherapy since graduating from the Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI) which is an Academic Institute of Centre for the Rehabilitation of The Paralysed (CRP) under the Medicine Faculty of Dhaka University at 2005. He commenced his professional career at Prescription Point moving quickly into the area of Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapy. Over next 5 years he continued to work with Bangladesh Cricket Board (National Cricket League and Bangladesh Cricket League) and Club Cricket (Mohammedan Sporting Club and SK. Jamal Dhanmondi Club) and Bangladesh Premier League Sylhet Royals, Comilla Victorians and Chittagong Vikings as Team Physiotherapist.

In that time, Zahidul continued to study and pursued further training in Orthopaedic Medicine from ETGOM and have completed Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine at 2007, Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (COMT) at 2006, Mulligan Concept (3 times) at 2005-07, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie) at 2009, McConnell Concept at 2009, Dry Needling 2014-2018, various Taping techniques and Fitness assessment and exercise prescription. He has also joined fellowship training at RECOUP, Bangalore and become certified Ergonomist at 2014. Now he is continuing MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine from Queen Margaret University at Scotland.

This Continuous professional development courses and clinical practices has given Zahidul a depth of knowledge and experience in the wide areas of musculoskeletal, spinal and sports injuries.

He has assisted Steven De Coninck as assistant teacher from 2014 to 2017 here in Bangladesh and have joined the International teachers Training at De Haan, Belgium at 2018.

He is now working as the Managing Director and Principle Physio of Movement Solutions Bangladesh (A Chain of Movement Solutions International) and Consultant Physiotherapist of Prescription Point Diagnostics and Health care Limited.
